Born in 1946 in Choukine, South Lebanon. Studied at the Ecole Superieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris, from 1967 to 1972. He was awarded with the Prix for Young Sculpture in 1978. In 1984, he trav­elled with his wife to Japan.

From 1985 to 1987, he taught sculp­ture at the Lebanese University of Tripoli and then from 1989 to 1991 at the Jordanian University of Yarmouk. Since then, he lives and works in France. He par­tic­i­pated to many exhi­bi­tions such as that at the Institut du Monde Arabe in 1991. He won the Taylor Foundation Prize in 2010. He par­tic­i­pated with seven sculp­tures at the impor­tant exhi­bi­tion Le corps decou­vert at the Institut du Monde Arabe, from March to August 2012.
