Having graduated with a degree in Architecture, Zein Daouk Jabr began her career in 1992 working on projects for the rebuilding of Beirut after the civil war. She later moved to interior design where her work involved a hand’s on approach to create bespoke furniture & architectural details. She worked with several designers such as Nada Debs, Pierre-Yves Rochon & BOKJA. Zein’s curiosity pushed her to hone her multidisciplinary design skills & she created children’s furniture as well as her own ladies’ accessories label. Her passion for ceramics began in 1999 & has been a constant in her life. She refined her skills under many ceramicists in Beirut & abroad. She participated in many exhibitions always focusing her work on a conceptual narrative that told a story & opened a pathway into the viewer’s imagination to explore new places & alternative notions.
